LEOs visiting children in the hospital during Christmas
On the second
day of Christmas North Latvia Leo club already second year in row were visiting
the Children department in the hospital of Vidzeme to cheer up little patients
and their moms. LEOs together with children were drawing, painting candles and
making paper tulips. Some of the children also got a painted face and some an
animal made from balloons. All of the patients received a nice toy and a cup.
The visit was a
lot of fun for all – children, their mothers and LEOs. One of the members,
Jēkabs, was pleasing all of us with Christmas songs performed on his saxophone.
The time spent with the children passed by really fast and no one wanted to say
goodbye. Now we can already say that this has become a nice tradition to visit
the hospital during the Christmastime and LEOs will try to continue it also
next year. (December
