LC Aluksne helps to provide work clothing

Members of LC Aluksne in fruitful partnership with LC Liepaja have participated in distribution of shipment of second hand work clothing. Shipment has been initiated by Reinhard Cords from LC Nienburg, Germany and contained very well maintained used work clothing suitable for both genders and different applications. Transfer of shipment from Germany to Latvia has been co-ordinated by Silja Thimsen from LC Liepāja! Her work has been highly appreciated!

Next step was to bring shipment of more than 40 sacks down to Aluksne from Riga where they have been picked up by our club. We were able to complete flawless logistics by help of SIA "Valdis" company. Special thanks to Owner of company Guntars Švolmanis!

In a manner of friendly club gathering as ususal shipment has been sorted according to sizes and eventual needs and further distributed amongst municipal and governmental institutions (schools, hospitals, houses for elderly etc.) of Aluksne district. Part of shipmment has been used to dress participants of Big Cleanup held on 27th of April 2013.
