Peer education on HIV/AIDS

As one of our members, Liene is not only a teacher, but also peer educator on topic HIV/AIDS, then club supported her initiative to visit schools in Valmiera region and tell pupils about this topic. Liene admits: “I usually give 45 minute lecture, that is not boring speech or something like that. Its interactive conversation with young people , where we play games and share our experiences and ask questions to understand the topic. This is why its called peer education. I am glad to have this knowledge, and that I can share it and represent Leo club!”
