LC Aluksne is amongst co-founders of Aluksne and Ape municipal foundation (AANF). This foundation has been established  25th of April 2005 in order to develop and co-ordinate different charity activities in municipalities of Aluksne and Ape both representing former Aluksne district, to support social iniciatives involving all groups of inhabitants in order to facilitate governmental and non-governmental iniciatives in specific fields of activity – social security, volunteer work, development of municipality and its surroundings and facilitation of mediation in philanthopy. Since the very beginning LC Aluksne and its members have been active participants in activities of AANF both practically and financially.

28th of March 2018 Social centre of Aluksne municipality held meeting of board and supervisory council of AANF where annual report for 2017 has been approved as well guidlines for 2018 have been set. LC Aluksne has been represented by current President Guntārs Bērziņš and he has been repeatedly elected as member of Supervisory council of AANF.
