That's how we live in...
In 2009 the German photographer Thomas Düsterhöft of Lions Club Nauen gave single-use camera to the elementary school of Karosta, the former Naval Port in Liepaja, Latvia. The children were asked to capture moments of their everyday life on film. Since that time Lions clubs have sent more children of elementary schools from different countries in Central and Eastern Europe on their personal picture safari.
The exhibition shows an extract of 550 taken snapshots which reveal children’s´ perspective on everyday life in Tartu (Estonia), Gdansk (Poland), Liepaja (Latvia) and Falkensee (Germany).
As a result the observer sees an unprejudiced photo-collage showing the reality of life of the next generation of young Europeans from Elbe to the Gulf of Finland.
